Meaning of Kanedere

The word Kanedere is the combination of  “Kane” and “Dere.” The word Kane refers to Money or gold. On the other, Dere means Lovey-dovey. The characters that show affection to their partners or lovers only for money or status are the Kanedere. In a word, they are Gold-Diggers.

They only care about how much a person earns! How popular is he! These characters change their behaviour and attitude according to the status of the persons they are with. If one can get benefitted, the person stays. The only goal is to be happy outwardly through fame and property.
