Just a few days after making her anime debut in Season 6 of My Hero Academia, a well-known character makes a surprising comeback in Chapter 378.

My Hero Academia manga is approaching its eagerly awaited conclusion. Numerous characters first introduced in the narrative are making appearances again to wrap up any loose ends with their character arcs and enjoy the limelight once more. The master assassin Lady Nagant, who once worked for All For One after escaping from Tartarus, is the subject of the most recent shocking revelation.

Only a few days after her formal début in Season 6 of the anime, she joined the last battle on the side of Midoriya Izuku and the Pro Heroes. Here is a recap of Lady Nagant’s history and current circumstances at this pivotal time in My Hero Academia’s final war.

My Hero Academia: Lady Nagant’s Quirk and Backstory

The rifle is Lady Nagant’s Quirk. When the occasion calls for it, she can change her right hand from the elbow into any gun. Regardless of the visibility, she may extend Nagant’s eyesight range because of her quirk. She can shape her hair into natural ammo that can be customized and curve bullets by mimicking hollow tips. She is an expert markswoman with a powerful Quirk that allows her to fire rounds that can reach targets up to three kilometres distant.

Lady Nagant may have made her television debut in My Hero Academia by escaping from Tartarus with other never-wells, but she was no cruel antagonist. For most of her career, she collaborated closely with the Hero Safety Commission, quietly neutralizing threats to the status quo from both Pro Heroes and baddies. She was Hawks’ predecessor and rapidly lost faith in the Hero Society after realizing how precarious the peace she was maintaining was and how dubious her tasks were.

Lady Nagant frequently had to kill innocent people on the spot because the Hero Safety Commission had learned of intentions or views they deemed extreme. Nagant’s guilt set in after she committed years of murder to protect the fake tranquilly of the hero society. Nagant’s life was not so discreetly threatened after she expressed her concerns to the Hero Safety Commission’s then-President and said she wanted to resign. She no longer wanted to participate in the illusion. Hence, she killed the Hero Commission President.

The Reason Lady Nagant Supports the Heroes in MHA 378

After fleeing Tartarus, Lady Nagant sided with All For One because she thought his dominion over the planet would, at the very least, be open. He gave her the Air Walk Quirk to help in this mission and instructed her to capture Deku on his behalf. While fighting Deku, Lady Nagant explained her background and motivation for supporting All For One.

The outcome of their battle was thrilling: Lady Nagant praised Deku as a hero who wouldn’t uphold the corrupt system since he chose to save the villain Overhaul. Unfortunately, Lady Nagant’s change of heart set off a delayed activation quirk that Quirk All For One had implanted in her, resulting in a massive explosion from within her body that seriously hurt her.

Lady Nagant survived the explosion, but because of the seriousness of her wounds, she has had to stay in the hospital up to this point. She is finally prepared to rejoin the fight as of My Hero Academia Chapter 378, and she is already showcasing how helpful her Rifle Quirk can be while facing the fully developed Demon Lord. She fired his entire palm off with an impossible-to-believe Rifle Shot just as All For One was about to touch the ground and cause the UA as a whole to crumble to dust. The Pro Heroes are still in danger even when Nagant returns to the battlefield, but she is a welcome ally in their struggle against endless evil.
